"John McBride and the Riddler" is a short film that I wrote and directed for my video production class with my friend, Hunter Farris, as my cinematographer. Then, I edited the project using Adobe Premiere Pro, edited the sound and voice-overs using Audacity, and created the main title and "police lights" animations using After Effects.
Objective: The goal of this video was to create a story that would immediately grab the audience's attention so that they would want to know what happens next.
Equipment: I shot the scenes using my HD Canon Vixia R500 video camera and my tripod.
Development Process: Since my video production class was divided into small assignments once a week throughout the semester, I decided to film and edit my video in segments corresponding to each of the assignments due. This helped me to break down this extensive project into manageable pieces, each completed during the week in which each class assignment was due.
