Objective: The goal of this video advertising a fictional counseling service organization was to convey the need of unloading one's problems (aka. sharing them with someone whom one can trust) and being able to feel the relief that comes from knowing that they have the help they need.
Equipment: I filmed this short video using my HD Canon Vixia R500 video camera by placing it inside a kitchen cupboard.
Development Process: First, I set my camera inside an empty cupboard in my kitchen and filmed myself as if I was placing three things into the cupboard. Then, I opened After Effects and added "Stress," "Anxiety" and "Depression" in bold black letters and used Motion Tracker to have the words move with my hand to make it as if I were moving them to a place inside the cupboard. Then, I opened the project in Adobe Premiere Pro and changed the color to black and white and adjusted the exposure, contrast, whites and blacks using the Color Workspace.
For the next scene, I filmed outside on a walking path with a bench along it. I then adjusted the exposure to make the scene feel brighter and adjusted the color slightly so that it contained more green and yellows. Next, I found a free image on Pixabay, opened Photoshop and added text and cropped the image in a circle to make it look like a company logo.
