Using Storyline 360, I created a course going over how to review and attach record hints using FamilySearch (a family history data organization platform). First, I created a video introducing how to review and attach record hints. Then, I created a simulation where the user can review and attach a record hint with hints embedded in case they get stuck. After the simulation, I added quiz questions to see if they understand what they've been learning and if they can correctly apply what they've learned. Finally, I added a branching scenario to explore how to use critical thinking when reviewing and attaching records.
Learning Objective: Users should be able to correctly and critically review and attach record hints using FamilySearch's family history data platform.
Activation: Started with a video tutorial showing how to review and attach record hints in FamilySearch using engaging visuals (such as red highlights).
Demonstration: The beginning video shows how users can review and attach record hints.
Application: After the video, I allowed the user to review and attach the next record hint within a simulation.
Implementation: Same as the Application step.
